An SL resin made for investment casting.

Somos® Element is an SL resin specifically designed for 3D printed investment casting patterns. It leaves only trace amounts of ash residue after burnout, making it easy to achieve a perfectly clean mold. Its antimony-free chemistry means it can be used for superalloys and titanium castings.

3D printing with SL technology provides a faster, more accurate and less costly means of making investment casting patterns compared with traditional pattern-making technology. As one of several pre-qualified resins configured for the V650™ Flex SL printer, Somos® Element brings the accuracy and efficiency of SL technology to investment casting patterns.
